On January 27th, before the Spring Festival, the International Cooperation and Exchange Office, the foreign students’ class advisers and counselors of Naval Architecture and Mechanical and Electrical Engineering School visited the foreign teachers and students in the winter vacation, made dumplings with them, talked about friendship and welcomed the Chinese New Year together.
Foreign teachers said that they had not been able to return home for two and a half years because of COVID-19. Although they live in a foreign country, the care and blessings brought by the school make them feel that Taizhou is their second hometown, and they feel safe and warm working and living here with their families.
The International Cooperation and Exchange Office and Naval Architecture and Mechanical and Electrical Engineering School also sent Chinese New Year gifts to international students. In addition, the school arranges holiday duty staff to keep in touch with foreign students, timely know their situation, solve difficulties for them, and provide support for their holiday life and study.
This activity made the foreign teachers and students feel the festive atmosphere. They said that they would continue to take good personal protection in accordance with the relevant epidemic prevention and control regulations. They would have a safe, peaceful and meaningful New Year in Taizhou.
